The other day when I was posting some tips for Avon Canada Reps on Rumble, I was led to some really great advice on double cleansing posted by an Avon Rep from the USA. This is an adaptation of the post she wrote. What is Double Cleansing? Double cleansing is as simple as it sounds—it means to wash your face with two cleansers. Typically, you use an oil-based cleanser first, followed by a water-based formula. Why Use Two Different Cleansers? While you could use two regular cleansers, double cleansing removes your makeup and sunscreen to clear the way for your regular cleanser to cleanse your skin, Think of it this way - have you ever tried cleaning off baked-on grease with a regular cleaner?
